From May 25th 2018 - General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) will impact all business and organisations that work with any personal information (such as names and addresses) relating to any individual within the EU. The regulations will not be affected by Brexit and will transfer into UK law.

Obligations under GDPR are significantly more stringent than under the Data Protection Act, with added accountability and fines of up to €20 million or 4% of global turnover (whichever is greater). The ICO state that you must be able to ‘demonstrate your compliance’ with GDPR.

The published regulations and guidance span hundreds of pages of plain text. We have created a range of engaging and easy-to-reference resources to remind of key GDPR practices in organisation.

80% of breaches involve staff. Showing you have taken reasonable steps to ensure staff are GDPR aware may be critical in the event of a breach or dispute. The resources are a low-cost yet extremely effective step to take in both compliance and demonstrating compliance with GDPR. They also look significantly more professional than self-printed materials.
